Billing
Owner only
One subscription covers your whole organization: every contributor, every template and every message.
Only the owner can subscribe and manage billing. Other admins see when a payment is due, and are asked to tell the owner.
Subscribing
Section titled “Subscribing”When you set up a new organization, step 2 is Subscribe. Enter your payment details in the secure form on the page. It shows the price, and any free trial.
After you pay, the page shows “Confirming your payment…” for a few seconds, then takes you on. If it takes longer, you haven’t been charged twice. If it doesn’t clear, email support@scriblet.io.
Managing your subscription
Section titled “Managing your subscription”In Settings, under Billing, choose Manage billing. It opens Stripe’s secure billing portal, where you can:
- update your card
- see past invoices
- change your billing details
- cancel
If a payment fails
Section titled “If a payment fails”Settings shows “Your subscription is past due.” Update your card under Billing to keep Scriblet running. Everything keeps working in the meantime.
Cancelling
Section titled “Cancelling”A cancellation takes effect at the end of the time you’ve already paid for. Until then everything keeps working, and the console shows Ends with the date.
Changed your mind? Go back to Manage billing before that date.
When a subscription ends
Section titled “When a subscription ends”Your organization is paused:
- Most things can’t be changed in the console, but you can still look at everything.
- The chat is closed until the subscription is renewed.
- Calendar alerts pause. They start again when you renew.
Nothing is deleted while it’s paused. When the owner subscribes again, your organization starts working again.
